Adorable
It kills you to see them grow up. But I guess it would kill you quicker if they didn't. ~Barbara Kingsolver,Animal Dreams
'They are adorable,' Gilan muttered to Jenny as they watched their newborns.
'I couldn't disagree with that statement,' replied Jenny with a yawn.
'I am going to kill them,' Gilan said with a straight face to his wife as their children's cries grew louder and louder.
'Well you were forewarned,' Jenny replied and stopped whatever she was cooking. 'Do you know why they were crying?'
'Josh took something off Amelia and now she is screaming,' Gil said loudly to try and be heard over the twins.
'Keep slowly stirring this and I will go and see what I can do about the others,' Jenny said, shoved a spoon into Gil's hands and ran off.
Later that night, Gilan was sitting with Jenny in his arms watching the fire.
'I have reports,' he said with a sigh.
'But you are comfortable and Josh and Amelia have just gotten to sleep,' Jenny replied and made no move to allow him to stand up.
'I don't want them to grow up,' Gilan admitted to his wife who laughed.
'Would you really be happy with them like this every day of your life?' she said.
'I think it would kills us,' he replied with his normal grin in reply.
